Original Triathlon Bike Rack FAQ Comparison Chart Contact

In response to the demand for a Triathlon Bike Rack that is easier and less expensive to ship, the Triathlon Bike Rack Kit has been developed.  The Kit provides a similar, versatile event bike rack system for multisport transition areas, but with a decreased shipping cost.

In the simplest of terms, the Triathlon Bike Rack Kit is a modular version of the original Triathlon Bike Rack.  They function in the same manner.

The heaviest and bulkiest part of the rack is the main beam. With the kit, the customer must purchase their own main beams (1 1/2" EMT, thin wall conduit you can pick up at any home improvement store or electrical supply store). The kit includes two end brackets and four legs to produce a complete rack. The customer only needs to attach the brackets to the main beam.  The bracket/couplings are attached with set screws.  Once attached, the brackets do not need to be disassembled.  The couplings and brackets may remain permanently attached.  As with the original Triathlon Bike Rack, the only assembly required at the the event site is the attachment of the legs, which requires no tools.
