COURSE |
Participants will start and end race at Norwood’s, following a safe, scenic course through the New Smyrna beachside. Runners may run with dogs and will be asked to start at the end of the pack and keep to the right while on the course.

PACKET PICK UP AND REGISTRATION |
Packet pickup for early registrants: January 20, 10:00 am to 4 pm at Southeast Volusia Humane Society, 1200 S. Glencoe Rd., New Smyrna Beach, FL. Packet pick up and registration is also available on race morning, at 7:00 AM, at the race site.

AMENITIES |
Join us for a morning full of family fun! Events, door prizes, vendors, pet contests, and more! Awards for 5K Run will be given out immediately after the event. Awards for the ˝ mile Dog Dash and 1/2 mile Pet Walk will be given out after the pet walk ends. All 5K Run pre-registered participants will be guaranteed a Runner’s shirt and goodie bag. All ˝ Mile Dog Dash and ˝ Mile Pet Walk participants will be guaranteed a t-shirt and goodie bag.

5K AWARDS |
- Overall Male & Female - Top 3 in each age group 17 and under, 18-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75 and over.

1/2 MILE DOG DASH |
Entry Fee: $15 pre-registered, $20 day of race Starting Time: Immediately after 5K Run is finished – approximately 8:50 a.m. Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers

1/2 MILE PET WALK |
Entry Fee: $15 pre-registered, $20 day of race Starting Time: Will start 5 minutes after 1/2 Mile Dog Dash Begins Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers.

INFORMATION FOR BOTH DOG DASH AND PET WALK |
Dogs must be on a leash at all times - no retractable leashes, please – they may be a hazard human dashers/walkers. Humans must be able to control their pets.
Dogs must have current vaccinations.
Dogs that do not play well with others are strongly encouraged to stay home.
Humans are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.

5K RACE TIMING AND SCORING |
The 5K race will be professionally scored and timed at the start and finish by RaceSmith, Inc. The race will be timed using disposable, electronic tags attached to the bib number. Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered. Results will be posted at the race and then online immediately following the race at www.RaceSmith.com

DIRECTIONS TO RACE PARKING |
From I-4, take exit 249A (SR 44 East) toward New Smyrna Beach. SR 44 becomes AIA S. Continue over south Causeway to S. Peninsula Drive. Norwood’s will be on your left; parking for the event is across the street from Norwood’s in Outback Plaza.
