Beck 5K Angels for the Arc - Free Virtual Run
The Beck 5K Family is very sad to announce that the Beck 5K 2020 has been changed to a virtual run only. We have struggled with this decision, but because of current events, it has been impossible to secure enough sponsors and volunteers, and even if the ban on gatherings is lifted now, we just won’t have enough resources confirmed to give our runners the experience that they deserve and that they have become accustomed to.
We want to be sure that our faithful running community does not forget about us and we want you back in 2021!! With that being said, the Beck 5K Virtual Experience is on!
Why would you want to run the Beck 5K Virtual 5K? Well, first of all, and most importantly we love our runners and we love The Arc of Putnam County, so we think this is a great way to keep The Arc on people’s minds.
Secondly, it’s free! We just ask that you register as normal and run or walk your race on your time and at your own pace, and if you use social media, please post lots of pics and use #Beck5k2020. We hope to flood social media with great Beck5k2020 pictures and stories to let The Arc of Putnam County know that we miss them this year. (if you have already paid for registration an email will be sent to you separately.. no worries). The link to the signup is below.
Finally, why would you need to register for a free race? Well, because we already purchased the medals… and we want to get them into your hands. SO, the first 500 runners that register for the Beck 5k Virtual run will receive this beautiful medal. We can only send to those runners that register, so please, grab your family and your friends and fill up those 500 spots and flood our feed with #Beck5k2020
